Join us March 30th, as Chef Matt DeMille launches the Supper Club at Angeline's Inn, in celebration of Maple in the County. Using one of Canada’s (and Matt's ) favorite ingredients, we’ve created a feast to usher in the Spring and all of her spoils. Sip on maple inspired cocktails and enjoy carefully curated pairings while you enjoy our maple feast.

Matt's menu will be showcase the abundance of the maple sap running season with a 3 course tasting menu with wine pairings and maple inspired cocktails at the bar. 

Growing up in rural Ontario, Matt has always felt a closeness to the ritual of making maple syrup. Tapping trees with family members and neighbours, checking the buckets for sap and gathering around a boiler full of syrup - the entire process is as fun as finally getting to taste the finished product. Join Matt as he uses one of his favorite ingredients to create a menu full of Maple Syrup.

This is a one-night event, hosted by our friends at Angeline’s Inn in Bloomfield Ontario, in the heart of Prince Edward County.

 

THE CONCEPT

At parties everybody ends up in the kitchen anyway, right? That’s exactly where we encourage you to be! Guests are always welcome in the in the kitchen while the chef is preparing your meal. Matt will create a 3-course menu with your group, sharing his tips and techniques along the way. Ask questions, take notes and soak it all in - we’ll even share the recipes with you at the end!

Come away with some newfound knowledge, skills and inspiration to elevate your everyday cooking. Or, just hang out and enjoy a professionally cooked meal in the comfort of your own home.

Do you have a larger group of friends that you’d like to entertain? We can do that too - let us take the reins to prepare anything from canapés to 5 courses for your next event.

Visiting Prince Edward County or the surrounding area? No need to make restaurant reservations and worry about who's driving. We'll come to your vacation rental or cottage!

HOW IT WORKS

1. Grab your friends

Our dining experiences are suited to all different group sizes - send us an email to discuss large groups over 20 people. Grab your friends and have a night in!

2. Book your date

Contact us to reserve your date. We ask for a $100 booking deposit to reserve your date.

3. Choose your menu

We have seasonal base menus from which to create your dinner party. Our menus feature local, seasonally available produce and foraged food as well as hand-made products by local purveyors in the area. 

We also offer local Prince Edward County wine, beer and/or cider pairings as an add-on, and can customize the beverage list to your tastes.

Then just sit back and leave the rest to us!

No need to worry about the shopping and clean-up. We provide all the ingredients, supplies and equipment - including dishes and servingware. Virtually everything but the kitchen sink. And at the end of the night, we take care of the clean-up (bonus!).

THE CHEF

A veteran of the Toronto food scene, Matt DeMille completed stints at renowned restaurants LeSelect Bistro, Enoteca Sociale and Parts & Labour. 

Now based in the Prince Edward County area, he helped to put Wellington on the food map as chef at Pomodoro. He then helped open the widely acclaimed Drake Devonshire Inn, which snagged a spot on Canada’s Best Restaurants List in 2016.  

In 2017 he launched a small, in-house, interactive dining program that brings the best of PEC into your home.

Matt is the host of CBC’s digital food series, All Things Food, exploring the stories, philosophies and creators of the most delicious food in Canada, airing in late 2017.
